Our client is one of the leading medical imaging experts on the market. By leveraging their patented cloud-based platform, they assist giant biotech and pharmaceutical companies with drug clinical research and trials. They are a pivotal partner in developing and creating life-changing drugs and personalized medical treatments for patients.

Duties and responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on GCP for production and non-production environments.
• Implement and manage container orchestration using Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Proactively monitor client environments, configuring alerts to identify and address potential issues before they impact users.
• Implement and improve security measures, monitoring, and disaster recovery plans.
• Minimize downtime by rapidly responding to and resolving infrastructure failures.
• Collaborate effectively with development teams to deliver self-service tools and empower rapid application delivery.

Required skills and experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with GCP.
• Great experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, specifically Kubernetes.
• Great with infrastructure-as-code tools, particularly Terraform.
• Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines, ideally using Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with highly available and scalable systems.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong written and verbal English skills.

As a plus:

• Experience with Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Auth0.
• Experience with Ansible.
• Experience with GCP HIPAA Compliance.
• Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., finance, healthcare).
