Middle Manual + Auto QA Engineer

Client and project description

Our client is a US-based FinTech company that aims to reduce support costs by simplifying its clients’ finance architecture to a single application. They help Investment, Commercial and Retail Banks, and Asset Managers enable efficiency, unparalleled transparency and control throughout.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Middle Manual + Automation QA to join our client’s development team and ensure the quality and reliability of their product.

Duties and responsibilities

• Develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on project requirements and specifications
• Identify Manual Test cases and execute them
• Testing front-end applications using Playwright
• Automation test results analysis and bug reporting
• Creation and maintenance of AQA artifacts and documentation
• Maintaining, executing and reporting on testing non-functional requirements such as load, performance and stress testing.
• Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders
• Work closely with team members to develop, test, and deliver high-quality products

Required skills and experience

• 3+ years in a Quality Assurance Engineer role;
• 1+ year as AQA;
• Proven ability to Execute Manual Test Cases
• Experience in web Automation QA (JavaScript/Typescript)
• Hands-on experience with Playwright
• Knowledge of JS and OOP concepts
• Experience with Test Driven Development
• Understanding modern web technologies (XHR, WebSocket, service workers, etc.)
• Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases and testing strategy
• Experience in test analysis, preparation, and planning skills
• Experience with Task Management systems, Test Management system
• Knowledge and skills in requirements validation
• Working knowledge of GIT/Gitlab
• Good English level and communication skills

Nice to have:

• Experience in API automation
• Experience with applications in the cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure)
